Kind of like if you're at the craps table, it says the don't pass line, you're betting against the person rolling the dice, so you want them to lose. So, just that kind of, you want a company that's trying to help us switch to sustainable forms of energy and reduce our carbon footprint to fail, that's what you're saying. So, kind of screw you guys, first off, that you'd be betting against a company like that, but that's, I get it, we're in capitalist world and these guys are out to make money, that's all that matters to them, at any cost. The whole planet be damned right? So, that's the first thing, that Tesla's the most shorted company in the world.
Now, he has a couple other updates here. He said the two questioners I ignored on the Q1 call are sell side analysts who represent a short seller thesis, not investors, right. So the idea typically of an investor is you believe this company's going to succeed unless you're a short seller. The reason the Bernstein question about CapEx was boneheaded, and this is what I touched on earlier, was that it was already been answered in the headline of the Q1 newsletter, the one I literally just read you https://www.casinoslots.co.nz/live-dealer-casinos. So, it was dumb to ask because you already had the answer. Maybe he was lazy, I don't know, I don't know what the thinking was. The other question, the RBC question about the Model 3 demand is absurd, is that Tesla has roughly half a million reservations, despite no advertising and no cars in showrooms. It's not entirely true, there are some cars in showrooms. "Even after reaching 5,000 week production it would take two years just to satisfy existing demand, even if new sales dropped to zero." So, Elon clarifying his thing kind of admitting a little bit here, and I believe he also said he was foolish. Lemme find it, sorry, thought it was in the same thread. Well, he did say it was foolish to not answer those questions. So, but you know, the idea about it again is that these guys are short sellers looking for everything that they can to try to make a quick buck off of them, by them failing. So, yeah screw them, I don't care. I love that he cut 'em off because guess what, sometimes you have to be put in your place. And he's the kind of guy that can do that. So, yeah, I'm overjoyed that he did it. Now, the more interesting bit beyond that was what happened next. So after he goes to YouTube, to my friend Galileo Russell who because of you guys was able to get on the call in the first place. This to me was a big moment for creators, because yes, he got a question in, and typically the rules are you get one question one follow-up, that's it. He got 10 to 15 questions. Now I have about seven of those questions. The most interesting ones here that I'm gonna play for you, we'll kinda run through them, because I found them to be truly fascinating, and something that is far more interesting and enlightening about where Tesla's going and what they're doing. So, that why I thought it was so great. First off, screw those guys, the short sellers, second off, this is a great moment for creators, because it kinda shows that not just the old legacy type of media and legacy analysts aren't what matters, that other people matter too, and that the new media folks like myself, and everybody else on Youtube, including Gali and his channel, we also have something to contribute, and Elon appreciated it, he did thank him, he was laughing at times, super, super interesting. Alright, without further ado, first one, and this is a question I got a lot was will the new SpaceX internet, which is code named Starlink, where they'll actually be providing internet world wide via low Earth orbit satellites, will that be connected to Tesla cars.
